Victoria Lancaster, assistant vice chancellor for operational excellence, is a leader in strategic operations, project management, and organizational analysis and design. With a career dedicated to enhancing organizational efficiency and value creation, Victoria has successfully spearheaded numerous high-impact initiatives focusing on assisting units across Pitt to enhance service delivery, reduce risk, and facilitate operational improvements. She currently leads initiatives across the University that are aligned with the goals of the Plan for Pitt 2028.
Victoria has nearly 25 years’ experience in higher education. She joined Pitt in 2014 and has held positions of increasing responsibility at the University including in the Office of Provost, human resources and business and operations. Prior to joining Pitt, she worked at Carnegie Mellon University.
She has an MBA from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, a business degree from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, and she is a Certified Change Manager.
